Award-winning singer songwriter Jennifer Corday is a seasoned music professional, and a long-time Melissa Etheridge fan. She is a Long Beach native and has performed many times in the same bars Melissa played in the 80s. Corday received rave reviews after performing live on the Melissa Etheridge Cruise, and has developed a large and loyal fan base across the nation from playing at festivals and events everywhere. As a college graduate with a degree in Theatre and Music, Corday is not only a talented musician, she is a skilled actress and story teller, and loves channeling Melissa, and Janis Joplin!
Corday rocks Melissa's signature black 12-string Ovation guitar, plus the new 6 string white Ovation endorsed by Melissa. She's got the guitar skills and vocal chops to nail Melissa's greatest hits. Add the right hair, the blue tinted glasses, the leather jacket, the jewelry, the guitar picks, and the attention to detail, and you're in for the ultimate Melissa Experience!
While in character as Melissa, Corday infuses the live show with her charisma, story telling, and crowd sing-alongs. From all-out rockers to intimate ballads, The Melissa Experience keeps crowd engaged and begging for her to take just one more piece of their heart!
